The Stark Expo.

It has been years since the last one was held, not since Tony Stark lost Stark International and it became Stane International. Things are different now though, and the legacy begins again.

The stage is massive, and at the back of it is a huge 3-D display that shows the Stark Expo symbol spinning around while everyone is waiting.

Starkexpo

Jeanne is dressed in a backless, strapless white evening gown, with matching stockings and heels - the outfit glamorous and expensive. The fact she is sitting at the front of the celebration in the VIP section suggests much; but then, she also has a pass that indicate she is an employee of Stark Enterprises. The fact she is sitting with one Julian Keller, of -that- Keller family is likely more interesting to the paparazzi that is covering the event. She looks comfortable, and waits paitently for the opening ceremonies to begin, while leaning over to Julian, "It will be interesting to see what the other technological companies are presenting." Yes. She's actually keyed into the event. And what she can take back from it.

Down in the VIP section marked off for Wayne Enterprises, Bruce Wayne, his son, a couple of other members of his extended 'family', as well as Lucius Fox. Bruce seems sober and alert this evening. Perhaps Lucius has impressed upon him the gravity of the night. Or, more likely, even Brucey, see so often on page six, settles down when it comes to his family business.

He checks his watch before leaning over to his son, a slight smile on his face, "You should wear a tie more often, Makes you look responsible." Teasing? From Bruce? Well, the son is known to be the responsible one between them.

Clint is seated in the VIP, which is odd enough on its own but he's rocking a suit too, and rocking it well. He looks like some bad boy movie star with the blonde hair, the stubble and that bod of his. Though at the moment, he's more concerned with the little holographic display device in his hands than the screen saver on the big display. He's tapping away, and doing a weirder thing than being in the VIP section or wearing a suit, he's working... when he doesn't have to be.

She-Hulk's statement for the evening? A silver pleated gown with a "corset" effect - just a visual effect, it seems, falling to the floor next to her. She's sitting next to, of all people, Hank Pym. Or maybe that's not so much of a surprise. Given how nervous he gets, maybe he's using her as a convenient wall to hide behind. She's watching the stage, her lips quirking slightly. She suspects there are going to be announcements of personal importance to Tony today...and she hopes he's not going to be drunk. Or, just falling apart.

"All righ', all righ', settle down," the vaguely annoyed Cajun accented tones of Remy LeBeau can be heard across the section the contingent from Xavier Institute had 'settled' in. Settled being the... not so operative word. He's trying to at least fake this whole 'adult in charge' thing.

Kara Zor-El had come to the Expo for three reasons. One - it's science and Kara was a bit of a science nerd. Okay, a lot of a science nerd, according to Conner. Besides, ever since the merge, there'd been a decidedly increased spike in the level of Earth technology. It made her feel better about this planet. Two - she was hoping to meet up with Tony Stark to thank him about the gift he gave her after the incident with Sawyer. Three - Dedrick's parents' company, J-Tech Industries, was supposed to have some sort of exhibit on their new 'Intuitive Operating System' - very hush hush so Kara wasnt really sure about what that was, but she'd get to spend some time with her continually absent boyfriend. Sorta. For now, she was looking around in the VIP section (which Dedrick had procured for her a seat at), looking for familiar faces.

Another woman, Pepper Potts, was looking for someone also - Tony. Which is sort of important since his name is on the whole shebang. There were a lot of people here - a lot of exhibits too, and Stark's exhibit was particularly extravagant, but it was basically expected for Stark Enterprises.

Dr. Pym looks around and adjusts his tie for the tenth time and then checks his watch. He looks around once again as if expecting someone. Dr. Pym sighs.

As everyone begins to settle down, the lights start to dim.

Right_Now_-_Van_Halen_(lyrics)

Right Now - Van Halen (lyrics)

Van Halen - "Right Now"

Music starts to pound, "Right Now" by Van Halen in the speakers. As the lyrics begin, the 3-D image projector changes from the Stark Expo symbol to images of Tony Stark working in the lab with Bruce Banner, and images of him being show something by Jeanne Foucault as she displays how the realism in the Elves & Swords fighting is. There is Amelia Voght speaking with a group of scientists as she shows some equation on the projection board to them. Next is Wonder Man himself working on The G-Station and doing a conference with Dr. Reed Richards and Tony Stark. Tony actually manages to get Richards to high-five which he manages to do by extending his arm as he is a good eight feet away!

Damian looks over at his father, his attention has been raptly focused on the stage despite there being nothing there to look at yet. The new prince of Gotham may be a bit of a Stark fanboy. "Tt. I am always responsible," he answers before he glances down at the watch for the millionth time. "When does the speech begin again?" he asks.

When the music starts Damian adds. "Oh, now," and fixes his eyes on the stage.

Julian glances to Jeanne and grins just a touch sardonically, though the tone of his words doesn't quite match the expression, "I'm sure some of them are going to have some pretty wild stuff." Julian replies, then grins a little more mischievously, "So, what do you calculate the odds being on this Expo making it all the way from start to finish without bad-guys showing up to ruin stuff, or some piece of technology on display malfunctioning in spectacular fashion?" He's clad in a suit, himself....a simple but perfectly tailored charcoal jacket and pants, with a red dress shirt and straight black silk tie beneath. Almost subdued by his standards. Still plenty expensive, though, especially when you include the custom-made Italian leather dress shoes.

Harry Osborn lounges in his seat in the VIP area marked off for OsCorp... though his eyes settle for a moment, appreciatively, on Kara, but his attention flits to the stage and he sits up straight as the music begins, a smirk cracking across his lips. He approves of the musical choices, at least.

"Hank? Relax. You know you can just hide behind me." Janet's not there yet. Or at least Jen can't see her in the crowd. As the display starts, though, emerald eyes flicker towards the stage, studying it, regarding it. Hrm. Richards, right now, might *not* have been a good choice, although it may well have been too late to change the intro.

Dr. Pym leans to Jen and says, "And block everyone's view of you in that dress? That would be woefully inconsiderate of me Jennifer. Anyway jan is not the jealous type."

"This... is... gonna... be.. epic." Adam Turner elbows his friend Tommy firmly. "Gonna be awesome. Gonna be--" and the music starts up, and for once, the purple-haired bratling shuts up.

Natasha isn't in her seat, though a seat is reserved for her. She's waiting, impatiently, off to the side behind the curtains backstage.

Tommy grins at Adam, he's wearing a suit and tie, he looks good in it. "Yeah should be," he says and stands up to get a look at the Xavier's crew. He doesn't spot electric blue hair, and he sits back down when the music begins and turns towards the stage slipping a phone out of his pocket to sneak in a text.

"I'm sorry I cannot make myself shorter," Piotr Rasputin, aka Colossus says to the upset man in the seat behind him before he settles into his seat again next to Remy. "This should be interesting, da?"

Jeanne's reaction to seeing herself on the 'big screen', such as it is, makes her tilt her head with curious assessment. She nods, as if in approval. Then as she turns to glance towards other reactions and note, she spies Damian and Bruce. She stares at Damian, until the young man looks her way, at which points she inclines her head silently to Damian, and gives him a hand-signal that later, they should meet. She looks back, to focus on the stage as she leans back towards Julian. "I do not think they will. It will lend creedence and favor against the current fervor against the heroes. It would do more damage to them to attack, during this event. They have more to lose, than to gain."

A man in a black suit moves to take a seat next to Clint when the Avenger field leader wasn't looking. He glances over at the Avenger as he uses his Avenger Holo card. The man reaches up and slides his aviator sunglass up his nose. Deciding not to say anything, Nick Fury grins as the music starts.

Gaining access to the event was more or less cub play. Dor'rain was honestly surprised that simply showing himself as an alien was able to get himself allowed entry. Dor'rain has a back pack on, his armor. Coming to the assembly area Dor'rain looks around but chooses not to take a seat. They may not accept his greater weight, so he leans against a sturdy post. Watching, the White Wolf Like alien watches with great interest at this gathering.

Clint turns of his Avengers ID when the music starts and when the man in the black suit sits down beside him, he glances his way and gives the man a nod. "Director," he says before settles back to watch the show. Tony did always know how to make an entrance.

As the song fades, another one picks up, Bruton Music - For the Future.

Bruton_Music_-_For_The_Future_(Daniel_Pemberton_-_Epic_Action_Rock_Drama)

Bruton Music - For The Future (Daniel Pemberton - Epic Action Rock Drama)

Bruton Music - For The Future

The Stark Expo symbol starts to whirl about in 3-D again. The music starts to build up slowly at first, before becoming quicker at about 40 seconds in. That is when something happens up above and the roof slides open to reveal open air. It is completely open at one minute and twenty three seconds in as the music pauses.

As the music bursts into action again at a minute and thirty seconds, the fireworks start to go off high above, red, gold, and blue primarily. At two minutes, the figure or Iron Man in the traditional red and gold armor rather than his usual one comes into visual range. He starts flying and zigzagging about the fireworks as he works his way down.

As the music slows at 2:30 seconds, the fireworks halt just as suddenly as they begun, and Iron Man drops and lands hard and dramatically on the stage at that exactly moment. He slowly rises as the music slows down into silence.

With a dead moment of silence, his booming voice sounds like Tony Stark's, only slightly computerized as he says, "Welcome to the Stark Expo!" His arms are spread wide and fireworks go off again far overhead as the cheers start from the crowd.

"Some things," She-Hulk asides in the closest to a whisper a Hulk can get to, "Never change." Like, you know, Tony showing off. No matter what's going on in his life, he can still ham it for the cameras.

Nick Fury says to Clint, "Where?"

When Jeanne appears on the screen he throws a glance around on the VIP for her, breaking his rapt attention on the stage. He catches the look and the signal and he nods in return, before the show really begins and he turns back to the stage.

"I dunno. Lot of supervillains out there. I doubt they're -all- in on it." Julian notes to Jeanne, glancing around a bit and sending a nod towards Adam and Tommy if he can spot them. After a few moments, Julian sighs a bit and notes, "At least I shouldn't have to worry about my parents showing up." He smirks, "They may have supplied the ATMs, but I doubt that's quite a big enough deal for them to worry about all this tech stuff."

Julian pauses and chuckles as Iron Man makes his entrance, shaking his head and applauding politely. "Y'know, I'm always going to be grateful my parents never got the idea to make me a flying corporate logo." He jokes towards his friend and (for the moment) companion, not exactly expecting any reaction to the humor, of course.

Clint blinks, doing the mental dope slap to himself. "Oh sorry, thought you were someone else," he mutters to Fury before the music kicks into overdrive and the PA system booms away.

Having gotten his armor through security with some odd looks, Dor'rain watches the display put on by Iron Man. He flicks an Ear and almost smirks. The armor does what the videos shows, Effective, if flashy. Still the opening is impressive as he will join in the clapping when others clap on Stark's intro. The Place is about cutting edge technology, and it is a good place to figure out tech wise, how advanced humans really are.

Kara spots a few people she recognizes. She-Hulk for one - she's easy to spot out in a crowd, super-senes or not. She also recognizes Clint. And Bruce and Damian as well. She hadnt really talked to Damian in a while, so walks over to him and Bruce as unobtrusively as she can, especially considering the dress she's wearing - the one that Kal wanted to specifically forbid her from ever wearing - not that it would help. Tell a teenage girl she can't wear something pretty much ensures she will wear it.

"Hi Damian..." She looks over at Bruce. "Bruce?" Then looks around.

Another person looking around, again, is Pepper. Nope, Tony's nowhere to be found. So she goes back to her assistant to make sure everything is prepared for the Stark Exhibits before doing the shmoozing with the VIP crowd. She heads over to Nick Fury. "Fury... hi. Is Phil around?" She's always uncomfortable when she talks to Nick Fury. Probably the eyepatch.

"Bozhe moi..." Natasha comments from her vantage point backstage, facepalming slightly. However, the hint of a smile plays across her lips. Even if she won't admit it, Tony's antics seem to be amusing her some.

Harry Osborn watches Stark's enterance with obvious approval, even throwing the man in the Iron Man suit a thumbs-up. Probably to his father's disapproval.

"Ugh. The only problem with Stark Expo..." Adam notes to Tommy.

Gambit chuckles at his tall Russian friend, and then settles back in his chair to watch the fireworks. In this case, literally.

From the Hammer Industries VIP section though, a young woman gives Iron Man's enterance a withering look. "Mother, he's intolerable," Sasha Hammer comments to the mayor of New York at her right, who had made it out just for this evening.

As the crowd calms down, a new song starts by Tray Chaney "Fatherhood".

Tray_Chaney_-_Fatherhood_Music_Video

Tray Chaney - Fatherhood Music Video

Tray Chaney "Fatherhood"

Iron Man starts to walk forward, his booted feet falling down in rhythm to the music as he heads toward a platform rising in the stage with robotic arms on. While the song plays, the Stark Expo symbol fades away again and is replaced by old videos and photos of Tony Stark with his Father. One has them working on a train set together, building a fully operational minimized one when Tony was a child. Another is a photo of Howard with an arm about his son's shoulders as his Tony holds up his MIT graduate degree with a big grin on his face! There are more, from childhood to adulthood, from walking the red carpet with him, to even an image of Jarvis the butler fixing Tony's tie when he is a teenager.

As the song comes to an end, the robotic arms have reached up and met Tony Stark and start to pull his arm off him as he steps out of it. Tony straightens the stylish suit he is wearing, and clears his throat, "Ladies and Gentleman! It is an honor for me to welcome you all to the legacy of the Stark Expo!"

And that answers Pepper's question of where Tony was.

Bruce applauds, though as the fatherhood song plays, he glances to Damian, giving his own son a wry smile, and then purposefully ruffling his hair.

Lucius Fox from his seat on the other side of Bruce stifles a short laugh.

Dr. Pym says, "He makes a bigger entrance than Kool-Aid Man."

Pepper Potts smiles. "He does know how to make an entrance."

"You would like Damian Wayne," Jeanne tells Julian, mildly. "He is intelligent. And very astute." If she is impressed with Stark's entrance, it doesn't show on her face - just like any understanding of Julian's humor doesn't. But then, it is Jeanne. She claps, briefly, because everyone else is clapping. And, it's expected. Her eyes trek to Clint, then. And the man who is not Nick Fury with him. She offers the man a nod, focus momentarily on not-Nick-Fury in the suit. Then, her attention shifts back to the stage.

Fury catches sight of Kara in the skimpy dress makes a gestures to Barton about it. Then he looks up as Pepper steps in front of him. Fury, who is wearing a pair of aviator sun glasses to hide his eyes (and Patch,) says "Ms. Potts." He looks over to Clint, "You know anybody named Phil?" He shrugs, "I didn't come with anybody named Phil."

Tony Stark moves about the stage with comfort as the platform lowers behind to hide his armor and the robotic arms and is replaced by a false floor, "I can't tell you all how much it means to me that everyone is here with me at the Stark Expo," he states, his voice being picked up clearly. "The Stark Expo was begun by my Father with Stark Industries, a company that has been in my family since founded in Isaac Stark Sr. in the 19th century. Losing Stark International due to personal issues to Obadiah Stane almost broke me." There is a pause, "But I picked myself up, and now I not only have Stark Enterprises, but I bought my family's company back where it begins, with the Stark bloodline!"

Some quiet music starts in the background as Tony speaks: Dubstep with female vocals actually.

It is kept low enough that it doesn't interfere with the clarity of Tony's voice. "I have been reminded lately how important legacy is. The growth of Stark Enterprises, the loss of my best friend Captain America," and he then motions back toward the side of the large stage, "And my lover, Natalia Romanova."

Pepper Potts murmurs to herself, "Subtle..."

"Like I said, some things never change. And amongst them, Tony Stark's entrances." Jen doesn't seem too unhappy about the idea, though.

"Would I?" Julian replies to wards Jeanne, his voice a little distracted, mainly because he's caught sight of Kara in that dress. He's far too socially adept to gawk, but trust us, he's gawking inwardly. He does look back to the stage and applauds once more as Tony is "revealed" and then falls silent as Tony begins his speech. He does look reasonably attentive...but then again Julian's very, very good at looking attentive when he's really not, so it might be a bit of a toss-up as to just how interested he really is.

Dr. Pym says, "Not subtle. The man has been rumored to tie love notes to bricks."

Natasha takes the moment Tony mentions her name to step out onto the stage, making her way to his side. She's gorgeous-- moreso than even usual, with the black and red lace-and-chiffon dress Janet has made for her. She slides her arm around Tony's waist, slipping herself into his own open arm, and leaning up to kiss him lightly on the cheek.

She is the picture of pure radiance and happiness.

Damian wrinkles his nose when Bruce ruffles his hair and when Kara arrives he smiles and in a supreme act of will manages not to stare at well, all of her, which is very apparent in that dress. "Kryptonian," he greets with a smirk, yep, that was a joke. "I mean Kara. Tim wasn't able to make the show, take his seat if you like."

Pepper Potts looks over at Pym. "No, actually I mean that's subtle for Tony." she says in a hushed voice while she watches the showman at work.

Kara smiles a bit at Damian. "Sure..." She sits down next to Damian. "Sorry we havent talked in a while." She watches Tony on stage. "Have you met that guy?"

Bruce gives Kara a goofy grin, one that's pure Bruce, complete with a once-over that's purely intended to be noticed by others. "Kara, yes, do take a seat with us."

Clint smirks over at Fury and leans over to look at Kara, well until he realizes it is Kara. "Damn I know her," he mutters to Fury before he looks up at Pep. "Want to join us, your boy seems about ready to make the big annoucement." He glaces at Nat then and shakes his head. "She always was a good actress."

The sight of the Robotic arms removing the Iron man armor is fairly impressive to Dor'rain with how seamless it all moves. Watching as the tech disassembles the Iron Man armor. Not as effective as his own armor, Having scanned the crowd for a number of faces, he identifies several, Osborn, Wayne, and above all Stark. Dor'rain does have the intent to chat with them if he can catch them at some point. He's done some research on them and some of their companies produce some materials he is interested in. More a By product he can use to keep his ship operational.

"It's alright," Damian answers with his eyes on the stage while he talks to Kara. "I imagine we've both been busy," of course that wasn't it at all, but they were in public so the faade of normalcy must be maintained. "And not yet," he says of meeting Stark. "But I /will/," he says determinedly. "Have you?" he asks.

Harry does a very appreciative once-over of the woman Stark claims to be keeping as a lover-- and grins, glancing at his father. "You need to get you one of those, Dad."

Norman snorts. "I've had better," he mutters to his son. "Remember Harry, women may be a pleasant distraction, but they are a distraction."

Jeanne doesn't show any surprise at the revelation of Stark's love interest, or reaction. She does recognize Kara, from the incident when she was dressed in a completely different way. Then, she adds to Julian, "I intend to offer Damian a look behind the stage, in exchange for the same with Wayne Tech. You may come along if you wish." Still, while Julian is her escort -- or, he hers -- there doesn't seem to be much of interplay for the papparazzi to pick up on. Suckers.

Dr. Pym leans over to She-Hulk and says, "Janet outdid herself with that design. Your outfit is lovely as well, did she have a hand in it as well or did you do it yourself?" Yes, he's trying to make small talk. he probably googled 'things women like to talk about' this afternoon.

She-Hulk doesn't react for obvious reasons - she already knows. Although with all that's going on, she wonders how long "lover" will be the right term. She asides to Pym, "Oh, Janet does most of my dresses and the rest are all from various designers. I can't buy off the rack, after all."

Pepper Potts nods a bit to Clint. "Thanks." She sits down and murmurs, "You know... you'd think I'd know what he's planning on saying." She pauses. "As long as there isnt some science experiment gone awry and trying to kill everyone, or a terrorist attack ... I'm going to assume this will be a success." She smiles.

Kara crosses her legs as she talks to Damian. "Yeah, actually he recently sent me a gift and a few notes ... so I was thinking this would be a good place to talk to him after the exhibitions."

The music plays as Natasha walks out, and Stark is quick to wrap a protective arm about her waist. He smiles with surprising softly. For someone that memorizes Natasha's curves, they might seem a little 'off', but not obviously so. Janet did a superb job in designing that dress. Tony's expression in the close-up of the two that reflects in the massive 3-D display above and behind them on the display is gentler than the expressions he usually shows in public. After a moment though, he then remembers they have an audience!

Tony turns to grin out over the crowd! "I will like to be the first to share some wonderful news with everyone today. The legacy will continue. Natasha and I are going to become parents, of two, of twins." He pauses dramatically to let that bomb hit everyone and really sink in.

Only then does he continue. "So this Stark Expo is especially important to me. It's about the future, it is about a better tomorrow for not only our children, but also mine. It's important that I not only leave a good legacy behind on Earth, but I leave a good one for my children to continue to take humanity to even greater heights. To me, the Stark Expo is more than just showing off, it's about corporations coming together and showing how they can make the world more beautiful through the power of gathered intellects and resources. So I thank those that have come to share and to bear witness, thank you."

Nick Fury grumbles under his breath and reaches into his jacket pocket producing a folded up 20. He hands it to Clint.

Hey. Wayne Tech. Maybe Carrie might be around. He hasn't seen her yet, though. Still, Julian nods to Jeanne and smiles a bit, "Sure. Might be interesting." He accedes to his friend, paying half-attention to the presentation on stage, not finding anything particularly "new" in it until he double-takes towards the stage and blinks in clear surprise, "Damn...twins?" Julian laughs, leaning back in the chair and mopping his face a bit, "He doesn't do anything halfway, does he?"

Dr. Pym smiles slightly and says deadpan to Jennifer, "I could fix that, you know. At least temporarily."

Clint grins broadly and takes the twenty from Fury and tucks it into his pocket. "Pleasure doing business with you," he says before he remembers there's big news going on. He fakes a shocked gasp "Twins?!" it's very soap opera-y then he looks around him at Fury, Pepper, Pym and Jen. "What do you think guys, Oscar worthy?"

Jeanne tilts her head, then nods, once, as if finally understanding the puzzle. "Ah," is all she says, to the news of Natasha's pregnancy. She mentions to Julian, "Do you wish to have children?" After his reaction to Stark's news. It might even, to those who overhear, might sound like she's offering.

Natasha gives a bright smile to the cameras, and then to the audience. Her arm is still around Stark's waist, and she leans a little bit towards him, stealing another light kiss before glancing back over the audience. She gives Not-Fury and Clint a particularly bright grin.

Adam rolls his eyes. "All that secrecy and they announce it on live television. In before every villain from Anteater Man to Zebrahead starts targeting them," he comments to Tommy.

Nick Fury says, "Stick to shooting bows and arrows, You're no Jeremy Renner.""

Damian blinks when he hears about Stark sending Kara notes and the gifts. "I hope he's not trying to get you to join his R&D department. If so, I am sure Father and Mr. Fox will be willing to provide better compensation to join our team."

"Absolutely," Lucius replies to Kara and Damian, overhearing Damian's comments, thought Stark's announcement certain had him raising a brow. "Just let me know if you'd like an interview."

Bruce's jaw works a bit, but he glances to his own heir for a moment. Then he nods. "We should offer congratulations after the opening ceremonies, Lucius, Damian."

As The announcement of the parents comes to his ears, even through his universal translator Dor'rain smiles as he bows his head when the Mother to be's eyes are upon him. One of respect and honor to an expecting mother. The Lupine Alien listens to the mated pair, about improving the future, for their children as well as others.

Tommy groans. "Two more Starks. It's like Game of Thrones but in reverse," he makes a gagging noise and looks over at Adam then shakes his head. "Actually I need to cut that stuff out, need to ask him about hiring my company," he pulls some business cards out of his pockets. "Be a bro and hand these out by the way," they're for Speed Delivery Service.

Harry chuckles. "Well, Dad, I suppose we have to at least play nice after this and congratulate him on not using protection."

"What?!?" Julian looks entirely surprised by Jeanne's question, before it occurs to him that it's Jeanne he's speaking to. "Uh...never really thought about it, Jeanne. Definitely not anytime soon." He shrugs, then chuckles a bit, shaking his head, "So I've got to know: Of all the things you could've asked, why the heck did you think to ask me -that- question?"

The Hammer women glance at each other, but Justine applauds lightly at Stark's news. After a few moments-- and a stern look from her mother-- Sasha joins in as well.

"Well at least tell me I'm not as bad as Hasslehoff?" Clint quips to Fury. "He's horrible."

Kara looks at Damian. That hadn't occured to her. She figured it was because she rescued Stark's ex-girlfriend, Sawyer. "What? No I think it was to thank me for - wait do you really think it's for a job?" Then looks over at Fox. Then at Bruce. Then back at Damian. Then at Fox. "Um... okay I'll er.. think about that actually?" She looks back at the Expo presentation.

Pepper looks embarrassed at Nick. "Oh.. okay. Sorry." She looks over at Clint. "Yeah. Very Bold and the Beautiful of you, Barton."

And yes, Stark teases Nat right on stage, "You keep giving me kisses like that, I'm apt to carry you off stage." He winks at Nat, "Especially in that dress," a quiet hrm then, "Wasp outdoes herself each and every time, amazing." Yes, he just gave his friend free advertisement on the Stark Expo stage! But he then looks out over the crowd, ignoring the bright lights. "For tonight, please enjoy in the good cheer and celebrations of the new beginning for the Annual Stark Expo and our good fortune! From my Father, to me, and now to my chidren, to the future of Earth and our children, let's make the world a better place to live and excel in!" There is then a pause before Tony says, "Enjoy the Stark Expo! And know, it is never, never to late to start anew!"

Three Days Grace "Never Too Late" begins to play as the 'couple' start to depart the stage.

Three_Days_Grace_-_Never_Too_Late

Three Days Grace - Never Too Late

Three Days Grace - Never Too Late

Nick Fury says, "You know, whose the Shit? Sam Jackson." He looks back to Pepper, "No problem. Your security man got to love that announcement.""

"You seemed to approve of the fact that he was going to be a father," points out Jeanne, in her practical manner. "And the fact you are a mutant and it is likely that your genetics will carry to your children, along with the quality of your abilities suggest that paired with a superior female, your children could be exceptional. Natasha," she tells him, "Is a superior female. That is likely why Tony Stark chose her."

"I definitely do," Damian says with a nod to Kara despite the look he gets from Bruce. "And see Lucius agrees too. We can talk later." As no doubt Bruce will be doing with him. "And yes, Father, I'd love a chance to speak with Stark." Which seems will be soon as the presentation winds to a close.

Justine Hammer rises to her feet as the presentation ends, making sure she and her daughter--who she snaps her fingers at to demand the sullen girl get up and follow her-- are among the first to speak to Stark.

Norman stands up when the speech is done, applauding politely when a couple of his people move to stand as well he glares them back to their seats. This was not a standing ovation. "You can congratulate him if you want, Harry. Miss Hand has scheduled me a meeting with a new employee, I will be back tomorrow."

Pepper Potts looks over at Nick. "Oh yeah, definitely Sam Jackson. The guy just screams 'badass.' I have a whole list of people I'd want to cast if anyone made a movie of real life stuff that's happened to people around me and that guy? Yeah he's definitely going to have a role in it. Not sure who I'd pick for Tony though. That stuff isnt staged - it's just all Stark."

Kara is distracted a bit, overhearing the conversation that Finesse is having about Tony and Natasha. She murmurs to Damian. "Hey... do you know that girl over there?" she asks, motioning at Jeanne. Definitely something about her reminds her of Damian's views on procreation. At least past views.

"I'll be Osborn enough for both of us, Dad," Harry says, getting to his feet as well, giving his controlling father a weak smile. He recognizes that tone.

As Tony and Natasha start to depart. Dor'rain starts moving, following his nose and instincts he looks around. Eyes scanning the crowd. Spotting Bruce Wayne and Norman Osborn, Looking between the two of them Mr. Wayne is closer as the tall alien slowly starts to make his way towards Bruce Wayne. His eyes lock on the young man beside Mr. Wayne and seeing the resemblance, makes Dor'rain stop and hold his position. When Mr. Wayne is looking in Dor'rain's direction Dor'rain will lift a hand up to catch the business man's attention. In his culture one does not approach a stranger with their offspring with them.

"Heh." Julian shakes his head slightly, "If I didn't know you better, Jeanne, I'd think you were volunteering." Julian chuckles and asides, "Probably about 9 or 10 years too early though, sorry." He does nudge her lightly with an elbow, teasing despite the fact the humor is rarely returned. She might not exactly be "normal" but she's become "normal" to him, and while there's little to nothing in the way of displays of affection between the two, there does seem to be a level of considerable comfort in each others' presence.

Compare and contrast. Natasha. Finesse. At least Natasha has some emotion. She-Hulk actually thinks Hank has made AIs with more emotion than Jeanne. Ah well. As Tony and Natasha move from the stage, she does NOT move right away to greet them. She's already talked to them, after all. Leave it to people who don't know the couple as well.

Remy seems unmoved and uncaring about the latest news, though he does tuck it away to let Scott and Jeanie know. They might care. But he gets to his feet, stretching, keeping his eyes on the teens under his and Piotr's care.

Adam bounds to his feet, but it's more because... "Tommy. TOMMY. It's /Harry Osborn/." he tugs his white-haired friend's arm. "You think we can talk to him?"

"See that you are," Norman says as he moves away into the sea of spectators shaking hands with those he recognize on the way to the door.

Jeanne rises, smoothly and gracefully. She looks expectantly to Julian, waiting for him. She's in no hurry to either greet Tony or Natasha, and even less so to congratulate them on their announcement. Instead, her eyes sweep the room, noting the other 'names' that are here, meanwhile - generally dismissing the ones she knows well, such as Clint and She-Hulk. She sees them all the time. It's the Osborns, Bruce Wayne, Justine Hammer, others, that glean her attention, however brief.

Nick Fury scratches his chin, "You ever heard of a guy named Seth McFarlane? I think he'd make a good Stark." He considers, "You ever just look at him randomly and tell him, "Winter is coming?"

"Homework?" Tommy mutters looking down at his phone. "Who misses a chance to come out to Cali for homework," he says before looking up at Adam and looking over at where he's looking. "Yeah, sure you're uncle's famous right, I'm sure it's cool."

Julian rises to his feet and offers his arm. She -is- his escort for the evening, after all (or he's hers, but...whatever). "Lead on, I know you're probably dying to talk to some of these folks." He grins a touch, "And I can at least pretend well enough."

Natasha and Tony step down from the stage, Nat still tucked into Tony's arm. But before they make it too far into the crowd, there are Justine and Sasha.

Nat gives the Hammers a cool smile. "Justine," she says in a clipped accent. "How lovely to see you." Not.

Dr. Pym tells Jennifer, "Do you mind if I say hello to Bruce Wayne? Some of the work his company has done in telecommunications is amazing. I'll snag us a couple of drinks on the way back if I can."

"Hammer baby!" It's Tony, he's totally going to rib Justine, whom he has grown up with, sorta. "How is it hanging girl?" But honestly he holds a hand out, "And congratulations on your election, I didn't get to...well, you know, things were happening at that time. But pleased you made it over umm...you know who," Osborn. "Lesser evil and all. I hope, please say you are the lesser evil, cause I totally voted for you." Down Tony, down!

But then there is Sasha, "Oh my," and he grins, "Sasha right? Man, you look like your mother, and that's not a bad thing." A pause, "Gawd, I hope these kids look like you Nat. People say I'm handsome, but I think it's the money talking."

Damian looks over at the girl Kara is pointing out and nods. "Jeanne Foucault, a researcher for Stark Enterprises, her date is Julian Keller, the second son of the owners of Keller Financial," he pauses to look over at Kara and her dress then. "He'd probably enjoy meeting you."

"Damian, just try not to break anything," Bruce says in a normal fatherly tone, dismissing his son to run off with Kara, or go talk to people. "And stay nearby, when the crowd lightens up, I would like to speak with Mr. Stark, and I want you with me when I do." He goes to turn to Lucius, but then Dor'rain catches his eye. "Ah. Hello. Bruce Wayne, Wayne Enterprises," he greets him, holding out a hand for a handshake.

"Coming with, Tommy?" Adam asks. Is he nervous? Probably. He's a total Osborn fanboy, after all.

Clint looks up at Stark and considers. "I dunno, do you think Stark sings show tunes?" he asks Nick before he snorts when Nick makes his comment about winter is coming. "Right, like from that boobs and swords show Adam watches."

Despite the odd culture he accepts the handshake and then says, "Greetings. I Hope I am not intruding. I am... fairly new to this planet." He's not entirely sure how to approach this. "I have been researching a number of companies on this world, and one of your business may be able to assist me with obtaining some materials I need."

"Yes, Sasha," Sasha Hammer replies to Tony with a scowl. Her mother gives her a dark look.

"Thank you for you... support, as wholehearted as it sounds, Tony," Justine says, not even bothering to fake a smile. "And it seems congratulations are in order for you both," she notes.

Natasha gives Justine and Sasha and openly withering look for a split second, before pasting a bright smile on her lips. "Thank you both. Tony and I are looking very forward to the adventure of parenting." She glances at Stark. "No, is not the money. You are quite handsome."

Sasha rolls her eyes, but then nods to the couple. "Yes. I am sure everyone is thrilled to hear about your impending children, Stark. Excuse me." And she slips into the crowd away from her mom.

Pepper Potts responds, "Doesn't he do that cartoon with the talking dog and something..." She pauses. "I know who I'd want to play me. Gwynith Paltrow. Definitely Gwynith Paltrow." She looks at Clint. "God... I hope not. I've heard him sing before. I'd like a Stark Expo to go off without a disaster."

Kara looks at Damian. "Um... okay?" Then heads over to Jeanne and Julian with Damian. I actually think Conner met him from that name." She pauses, looking at Dor'rain for a few seconds before heading off with Damian.

Jeanne leads Julian over to Damian. And, of course, by proxy, Kara. She neither seems interested, or jealous of Kara's dress that has all the boys gawking. Even if it's subtle-gawking. "Damian," she greets, simple, and to the point. Briefly, her eyes track Bruce's departure. Then, she looks back to the other boy. "This is Julian Keller. He is my escort for this evening. I have a proposal for you. I will give you access to the Stark demonstration backstage for access to Wayne Tech's demonstration backstage. We each, of course, must agree that such ideas remain the sole intellectual property of it's owner and not take the ideas back to our corresponding companies for profit." For profit? No. But, perhaps for further development and research while patrolling, and beating up HYDRA Agents, or League of Assassin thugs.

Tommy snorts "Easy man, he's going to think you're lame if you don't chill," he hands Adam a flask he brought in with him. "Chill out and we'll go talk to Harry Osborn, maybe see if we can get some swag bags out of him."

And people call Tony the Space Cadet, but at least he isn't doing off-world business yet like Bruce Wayne! In either case...

"Geez Justine, relax." But then Tony awwws at Nat's words, "You are being extra sweet tonight, I'm kinda liking this." But he then watches Sasha walk away, "She...didn't have a crush on me or something and I totally didn't realize it, did she Justine? If so, totally sorry about her feelings. Umm...awkward moment." Another pause, "Gawd, I'm going to go through that with my own children. If I come to her for advice Justine, I apologize ahead of time." He likely won't, but it's a funny thought, for him anyway. "But looks like she might need a hug," which totally gives Justine the chance to escape if she wishes.

Nick Fury nods, "Barton, don't ever let them tell you, your not quick on the uptake." He looks at Sasha and Justine, "Feels like Sharks circling." He looks to Pepper, "What's California's smoking laws?"

Damian's attention turns to Dor'rain too and he whispers so Kara can here him. "I've seen him before, keep an eye on him, he could be dangerous," before he moves towards Jeanne and Julian. "Jeanne, Keller," he greets them both with nods before he presents Kara "This is my friend Kara Zor-El."

Adam takes the flask and sneaks a sip of it, coughing a bit and wiping his lips. "Right. Right. Be cool. You think we can get a swag bag? That would be... swag. Literally."

"Ah! Well, those sorts of details really would be worked out with purchasing--" Bruce begins, his tone light and slightly devoid of seriousness. "I'm really just a figurehead, you see. What sorts of materials would you be wanting to purchase?"

Dr. Pym walks over to Lucius Fox and says, "Mr. Fox? I hope I'm not intruding. I'm Dr. Henry Pym. I found your company's work in cybernetics and telecom operations quite impressive. I have a few modest accomplishments in those fields myself. Just wanted to say I'm an admirer."

Pym catches a snatch of the conversation about movies. Pfft. Yeah. Like anyone would make a movie about Ant-Man! They probably get Ben Stiller to play him.

She-Hulk considers, then moves over to...Clint and his friend. "Hey, Clint. Got something I want to ask you about...later. Don't let me forget, okay?"

"Pleasure, Damian." Julian doesn't offer a hand to the younger man. Not out of any wish to snub him, but because he's been in enough of these situations to get a feel for when someone's unlikely to want or offer one, so he returns Damian's nod, then looks to Kara and smiles, but only politely even if it's tinged with some genuine warmth, "Good to see you again, Kara. You look great." He glances about, "Didn't see Nori around. Any idea if she's planning on coming?" He doesn't pay much attention to Jeanne's arrangement with Damian, because hello!...smoking hot blonde in a skimpy dress to talk to.

Justine gives Tony a forced smile. "Not that I know of, as to the crush, but believe me, I'll ask." She glances back to Natasha with an equally forced pleasant look. "Again, congratulations."

Natasha shoots her a dark look. "Perhaps I /should/ naturalize so next election, I can vote against you," she notes idly.

Justine smirks. "Oh, the Russian mail order bride comments I could make now, but don't. Have a great evening, you two." And she disappears into the crowd after her daughter.

Clint tosses Fury a cheeky salute before he chimes in to ask Pepper "And is there a bar in this joint?"

Hearing Pym's comment he grins "What about Owen Wilson, I hear he's hot right now?" he says before he nods up at Shulkie. "Sure thing, though no promises if we find a bar."

"If you find a bar, can I come? I'm looking for one too." She grins at Clint...and why did he salute that guy? Huh. Nope. No recognition. Glasses are, after all, the best disguise in the DC universe and, since the merger...

Pulling out a small palm computer that produces a Hologram. "I believe you would consider it industrial waste. When properly processed with other materials, it yields a Synthetic element what when combined with the elements Platinum and Iridium, Allow for the manufacturing Hyperspace Field generation coils." The Hologram generated is a slightly toxic material used in industrial metal fabrication, and cleaning. Containing Iron, Copper, Carbon oxides.

"Yeah man," Tommy says to Adam as he stows the flask real quick before he leads the way towards Harry. "These shows are for rich guys, and rich guys always give other rich guys stuff, it's why they're rich."

Nick Fury smiles at a comment made by Hammer. "Point Hammer. I feel for her when Natasha gets revenge." He waves to Clint, "Later Barton." He turns to look She-Hulk, "Ms. Walters, how's the law practice these days?"

Kara peers at Dor'rain for a moment then murmurs to Damian as they walk off, "Keep an eye on the werewolf. Gotcha. Always good advice." When they get to Julian and Jeanne, "Thanks... I don't really get to wear this too often." She looks at herself. "It's not too much, right?"

Obviously she's not talking about fabric.

She then says to Julian once it's clear that they HAVE met before, "Not really sure if she's coming, honestly. I think she was busy."

Pepper looks at Clint. "Yeah, there's one over there. Here I'll join you before I go to meet up with Tony and Natasha, the lovely couple... before they wind up on TMZ for starting a fight with the Mayor of New York. She says to Nick, "If you'll excuse me?" then makes her way over to Tony, Natasha and Justine. "And what are you all talking about?" she says with a smile.

Tony blinks, "Wait, does this mean I'm supposed to marry Nat?" A dramatic pause, "We got to ring shop." He then winks at Nat, "I'm kidding, don't hurt me." Nat might really murder him if he proposed to her. Not that he hasn't thought about it, but that's complicated. But he then chuckles, "That was a good one though, the Russia...umm..I'm shutting up now," catching himself. he wants to keep Nat in a good mood thank you very much. "And you are very, very beautiful tonight," he reminds Nat. "You are always beautiful, but extra beautiful tonight. And...moving."

"Harry! How is it going man?" Tony moves to hold a hand out to his peer. "It's good to see you. And absolutely no offense to you, but glad you are speaking me without the old man." He isn't a Norman Osborn fan, but he seems completely cool with Harry. "You excited about your expo showing?"

"Do we have an agreement?" Inquires Jeanne, curiously, of Damian in regards to her previous proposal. Sure, Kara is smoking hot. And a blonde. But Jeanne is looking pretty hot too. She has that hot librarian/gymnast thing going on. Julian's attention on Kara is not missed, but neither does she feel necessary to call him on it. Hey. She knows Kara is attractive. And Julian is a guy.

"Later," Clint says to Nick. Then to She-Hulk he nods "Come join me after you're talking to the mysterious stranger," he says before he fades off into the crowd waving at Adam and Tommy when he passes. He makes a drinking motion to let them know where to find him. If there turns out not to be a bar on the premises Clint will find it outside and text She-Hulk the instructions. Finding booze, it's Clint's super-power.

Harry was in the process of fending off a couple of overly-interested people asking about why his father lit out in a hurry when Tony shows up, saving him. "Ah, Mr. Stark!" Harry takes Stark's hand and shakes it firmly-- the young man grinning broadly. "Amazing performance, as always. And yeah, Dad sends his regards to you and your girlfriend. He'd be here, of course, but, business." Strange, that, since Harry's technically the CEO.

The teenagers would be approaching about the time Harry responds to Stark's question about Harry's expo showing. The younger Osborn cracks another grin. "Of course. Absolutely stoked. You'll love it, I think. We've got a bunch of cool stuff and I'm really thrilled to get to show it off."

"Same old, same old," she informs the still-not-recognized Fury. Clint's finding booze. He's almost as good at it as Wolverine and rather better than her, so she'll leave him to it.

Damian is satisfied with the nod Keller gives him in return, and he turns to Jeanne. Her appearance is stunning of course, but it barely registers at the moment. "Yes, our arrangement stands. I am looking forward to seeing what you have to offer," he says, and yes that sounds dirty but Damian delivers it without irony. "I do need to speak with Mr. Stark however."

Adam looks over at Harry--his idol-- talking to Stark--the one guy that Adam considers to be the biggest dilche like, ever. EVAR. With an a.

Whatever. He steps up, looking up at Harry with an awed look. "Are you really gonna show off a new extreme sport? I mean, I've heard rumors..." he trails off, letting Tommy jump in.

Dor'rain pulls out a small palm computer that produces a Hologram.

Dr. Pym turns back to She-Hulk. "Mr. Fox was rather engaged with companions. Ah well. Who is Owen Wilson ... wait the tiny cowboy in that museum picture! I liked that one!"

Oh, Jeanne is smoking, it's true. And don't think that Julian isn't enjoying seeing them virtually side-by-side, even if he's quite good at eating the eye candy discreetly. Julian chuckles a bit at Kara's question on her dress, and tilts his head, "I guess that depends on how much attention you're looking to attract. Because you'll get a lot of it." He looks to Jeanne and Damian briefly, then nods once more when Damian seems to excuse them to go have their own meeting with the man of the hour (or well, man of the week, really).

"If you wish to meet Tony Stark, I will introduce you," agrees Jeanne, simply, to Damian. She looks to Julian. "If you wish to remain and speak to Kara Zor-El, that is fine. I will return soon." She leaves it up to her escort, if he follows or not. After all, they weren't here dating each other. "Follow me." And, she starts to lead Damian to meet Tony Stark. And, of course, by proxy, Natasha.

Natasha smiles at Harry, but lets Tony do the talking for now. She's effectively arm candy at this point, as far as she's concerned. Though the arrival of Adam and Tommy earn a small smirk. MiniBarton and MiniPietro. God. She was beginning to feel old.

Tommy smiles and offers Harry his hand "Great to meet you, Mr. Osborn, we're big fans of what you've done with the company. And yeah, can't wait to hear about this sport," he's palmed his business card so that he's giving it to Harry when they shake hands.

Pepper Potts smiles at Julian, then Jeanne. "Me too, actually. Really nice to meet you both though. And... Jeanne? I totally agree about what you said about Mr. Stark and his girlfriend." She murmurs, "That's how it worked on Krypton, honestly. I wouldn't knock dating though." She thinks. "Even though you can wind up dating a supervillain.... " She looks around. "Or someone who invites you to an expo and doesnt show up..." She shakes her head. "Anyway, really nice to meet you, and nice to see you again also Julian. "I think you probably should go with your date since I need to talk to Mr. Stark too."

Dr. Pym says, "I deal with hi ... I'm not helping am I?"

"I think my date's coming with you." Julian notes to Kara, moving along with Jeanne as the group heads towards Tony as well. So now Natasha can be confronted by MiniMutantTony as well (at least to hear his teammates speak of it).

"Business? Ughs," and Tony makes a face at that. "Please tell me you are keeping control of the CEO helm. I love your work with OsCorp and I honestly believe the company will hurt without you as its head." He says this sincerely and seriously to Harry. His own handshake is firm and friendly. But he then relaxes after releasing the handshake at the younger Osborn's excitement. "Awesome. With everything going on, I'm hoping I can attend personally, if not, I'm making sure to get everything filmed live so I can watch it wherever I'm at," Tony says seriously. "I'm really looking forward to your showing Harry."

Though when Adam jumps in, he raises an eyebrow, "Umm...hello kiddo." Like, thanks for ignoring me. But then he nods toward Tommy, "Hey man." In either case, back to Harry, "Geez, I swear a line is forming," he grumbles. "But if you have some time tomorrow, let me know? I got some things that I'd like to talk to you about, and honestly, I'd just like to catch up with you. And be nice to the kid, he's a good kid, even if a bit rude," and he grins at that. "Not that I have much room to speak about rudeness." He gives Harry's arm a warm pat, before he moves on to leave Harry in Adam's and Tommy's care.

Kara smiles at Julian, then Jeanne. Stark too."

Meanwhile at the Stark group, Pepper looks at Tony, then at Harry when he approaches also. "Tony's good at that."

"Interesting," Bruce replies. "Well, it's possible we may be able to help."

Dr. Pym considers trying to speak to Mr. Wayne himself. Then he notes the earnest conversation with the alien werewolf. Probably a Star Wars fan. He hates Star Wars. He heads towards the exhibitions. His tolerance for crowds has been tested to destruction and he did set up a booth.

Harry chuckles. "Don't worry," the young man says. "Dad's got his whole politics-government-whatever now. But thanks for your confidence in me, Mr. Stark."

He looks over at the teens, shaking their hands with an amused look, and pocketing Tommy's card with a wink. "Yeah, I think you'll love it. Actually, there's a place over in the exhibit hall you can try out the new OsBoard, kids."

"Uh, yeah, thanks, Mr. Stark," Adam says offhandedly, glancing over at Tony as he departs, but then his attention is totally on awesome awesome HARRY.

Fury nods, "Glad to hear it." He turns to look at Pym, "Chances are your not." He extends a hand, "Big fan of the table book. How did you get some of the shots? Did you actually shrink down and climb into the ant holes?"

Closing the palm computer Dor'rain will notice he is being watched as his eyes looks over at Kara. There his no hostility but just an ear flick but returns to the person at hand. "I am not entirely sure how to contact your business department, But If you could get them this." And pulls out a small oval pin about the size of a match box. "This contains a small two way radio, nothing to complex, but will transmit a signal that I can receive on my ship, and communicate with."

"Thank you," Damian says as he follows Jeanne and shortly so does Kara and Keller. Figuring one more can't hurt he tries to catch his father's eye as he passes and jerks his head towards Stark to let him know where he's going and to invite him to join them.

Natasha leans over and gives Tony a light kiss on the cheek as they move on from Osborn, just in time to run into Finesse and Julian, with Damian in tow. "Ah. Jeanne, Julian..." Natasha greets the two with a warm smile. "And who is your friend?" She knows. But she's not letting that out.

Bruce nods, taking the communication device. "I will," he says. "If you'll excuse me," he continues, seeing his son gesture him over to speak with Stark, and he moves over behind his heir. "Tony Stark. Bruce Wayne. This is my son Damian. I'd like to offer congratulations to you and your girlfriend-- Damian's presence has only just recently come into my life, but I can assure you that fatherhood is an experience like none other."

Dor'rain nods and bows his head heading around looking at the various examples of human technology. "Basic rule, show advanced, but keep cutting edge secret." he says so anything her he expects there to be at least five or ten years in advance secret research.

"Awesome we'll check that, out," Tommy promises Harry before he pulls out his flask and offers it to him. "Also, me and my boy here were thinking of finding a party, if you want to get out of the CEO zone and hang, you're totally welcome."

Jeanne sashays like a pro, through the crowd, and moves to Tony just as Harry is distracted by Adam and Tommy, neither of whom presently have her attention. Instead, she inclines her head. "Tony. Natasha." She looks to Tony, "You chose well in your selection of a genetically superior woman to increase the chances of having superior children." A nod, to Natasha, as if to indicate the same to her. Natasha's heard something like this from Jeanne before, however. She gestures smoothly, "This is Damian Wayne. Bruce Wayne's son." A glance, to Damian. "And you of course know Tony Stark by his numerous appearances both in television news and tabloids."

Harry's eyes light up. "A party, you say? Bound to be a few in the area, I'm sure." A business card-- a personal one, by the looks of it, as it just says 'Harry Osborn' and has a phone number on it-- is flipped casually out of his suit pocket and handed to Tommy with a smirk. "Your number's on your card? Mine's on mine. I'll text you if I hear anything, and you can do likewise."

There is a focused and intent look on Damian's face when he is introduced to Stark. He offers a hand. "Hello, Mr. Stark, it's pleasure to finally meet you, we talked by Tweet, I admire your work," he glances to where Pepper stands as well. "Yours as well, your handling of Stark Enterprises has been exemplary." All this coming from a fourteen year old.

Pepper Potts smiles at Damian, "Well aren't you a charming young man. Must run in the family. Thank you. Thank you very much." Then she blinks and looks around when Jeanne says... what Jeanne says. "I think I'm going to go find Barton and the bar." And off she goes. Though she has to hand it to Jeanne - she was pretty accurate about why people would know Tony Stark.

Kara arrives by Tony, Bruce, and Harry - a veritable who's who of corporate CEOs. Karen should have come here too. She waves a little at Tony. "Hi Mr. Stark also. We've met. Remember? The Asia thing? I just wanted to thank you for the gift you sent me. Sawyer told me it was probably from you."

Nick Fury walks up to Stark and Wayne. Its just about then he hears Jeanne's comment about genetically superior women. His lips spread into a smirk and he lets out a laugh. Then he stops himself. "I'm sorry. It's interesting to hear such a intriguing theory."

Natasha's expression darkens at Kara's mentioning of Sawyer. She was the /last/ person Stark needed on his mind with all this other stress.

Tony goes to fist bump Julian's own fist. "Hey my man. What's kicking? Please don't blow anything up," he teases. But then oh my, Tony is totally STARING at Jeanne. He then looks over at Nat, then back at Jeanne, then back at Nat. He blinks at Nat. "I'm not explaining what 'knocked up' is to Jeanne. You can do it. Even if she does sorta have a point." But then back on another topic that doesn't break Tony's head!

Tony actually holds a hand out to Damian, "Hey man. Sorry I didn't get to say hi to you at Justine's speech at the Hellfire Club. Nat umm...distracted me. But it's awesome to finally meet you. If we don't get a chance this week, drop me a line as I promised myself to make some time to speak with you." So he totally remembers Damian!

Though his hand is then offered toward Bruce Wayne. "Bruce, or is it Brucie?" He's grinning. "I don't know how I feel about someone that rivals my own bad reputation, challenged maybe? But sadly I must behave, responsibility and all," as he teases the other man. Then more seriously, "I looking forward to Fatherhood, though sometimes I'm so terrified, I think I might just throw up. I guess the good thing from that, is I want to do it the right way. So if you have any bits of wisdom? They will always be welcomed," Tony says sincerely.

Jeanne's comment gets a small laugh from Natasha. "Believe me, Jeanne, I doubt Tony had much /thinking/ in mind when..." and she breaks off that comment as Fury arrives.

Bruce chuckles. "Just Bruce, here," he says with a grin. "But maybe later, Brucey." He squeezes his son's shoulders. "Unless Damian gives me that disappointed look he does so well. You'll find that, once you have children, their opinion of you means so much."

She-Hulk has, apparently, wandered off with Clint to find that bar. Not really surprising for her...and things seem to not be under attack, and she's not gone THAT far away.

Tommy takes the card and nods "You got it man," he says to Harry and offers him a fistbump. "Also, we'll be sure to bring our friends," he says and he nods towards where Kara and Jeanne are standing by Stark, figuring Harry's got to enjoy that view.

Julian fistbumps Tony and smirks a bit, "Just enjoying the show. -Twins- though?" Julian laughs a bit, shaking his head once more, "I'm re-iterating my firm "no babysitting" stance in front of all these witnesses, just for the record." Julian jokes, before his smile grows less wry and more warm, "But congratulations. Again. Both of you. You're gonna get a lot of that tonight. And just because you asked nicely I'll totally do my best not to blow anything up." He glances towards Bruce, and smiles politely, extending a hand towards him as well, "Julian Keller. Pleasure to meet you, Mr. Wayne." Of course, Bruce is probably entirely aware of the night Julian spent under Wayne Manor's roof, and the rather tragic circumstances that surrounded it, but for his own sanity, Julian doesn't bring any of that up. He only got the chance to interact with Alfred and Carrie while he was (briefly) there.

Harry returns the fistbump with a grin, and eyes Jeanne and Kara appreciatively. "Sounds like a plan... Tommy, was it?"

Dr. Pym waves to Janet from a corner out of the way, He's drinking some punch.

Tony is still catching up, thank goodness for that computerized brain of his! But he then nods to Kara, "Ya, it was. You saved her life and other lives too. I really appreciate that. I'm sure Sawyer did too. I hope you enjoyed the gifts, and sorry for the unsigned bit. I didn't want to make it overly obvious, it really was just 'thank you for being you', a heroine." He handles it smoothly, even if Nat wasn't happy to hear Sawyer's name.

Then toward Fury, "Hey, old man," totally teasing Fury, "You are totally thinking dirty thoughts, aren't you?"

Finally toward Pepper, "Hey Pep. Don't let Damian sweet talk you too much, sadly, he's taken by this other cute little red-head named Carrie Kelley. She's a total fan of Janet's works," he teases Pepper about.

But Tony then nods to Bruce, "Seriously, Nat's does too. Cause if I act like it doesn't, she just punches me to remind me that her opinion DOES matter."

That earns Stark a punch on the shoulder from the redhead on his arm. It looks playful, but it wasn't pulled.

Jeanne looks towards Fury, first. "Natasha is clearly genetically superior to the ordinary individual. In both appearance, and ability," she tells him, in a lecturing sort of tone. Yes. The seventeen year old is lecturing the Director. "Even if the children are unexpected, it is still a sound choice for each party to ensure a successful manifestation of an even more superior genetic line." Yes. Jeanne is discussing breeding people like some people breed dogs. Or plants. And without any problem with it at all.

The short-haired teen, who, when she was 16 managed to land a job at Stark Enterprises in the R&D department - now featured in the Stark Expo launch video, informs Tony, "You will find Damian an astute individual who has sound insight." Coming from Jeanne? That's a damn high compliment. She doesn't even criticize a single aspect of Damian's character or abilities.

Damian nods and says "Thank you Ms. Potts," before she disappears and Damian turns back to Stark. "Thank you, that would be a pleasure," he says then as an afterthought, since Julian had mentioned it. "Also, congratulations on your twins, I am sure they will ably carry on your family's legacy." He glances up at his father afterwards, trying to see if his words to Stark had been serious.

The talk of twins though has Tony's attention again. Holy shit! Pepper would likely be flabbergasted that Tony can multi-task like this in actual CONVERSATION WITH REAL PEOPLE!!! Stark is laughing, "I know seriously! I thought Pym was about to pass out and hit his head on the floor! We will find out genders this week or next week latest. I'm pretty stroked about it," Tony confesses. "And thanks, again Julian. I really appreciate all the support you have given me. It's always good to know I have a friend I can depend on." He may tease Julian by calling him one of the 'kids', but he also respects Julian a lot too, and he shows it.

Sometimes, Jeanne just makes Stark want to cry. In either case, he isn't touching that with a ten foot pole! Instead Tony says, "Thanks Damian. Considering how stubborn me and Nat are, they are likely going to be hell on wheels."

Catching Hank out of the corner of her eye, Janet attempts to make her way over towards him. She had arrived late...even more late than what would have been fashionable for her. As she crosses over, blue eyes peer out from underneath the wide brim hat upon Jan's head...seeing who she recognizes en route to Hank.

Tommy nods. "Yeah, Tommy Shepherd and this is my bro Adam Turner," he says to Harry after the fistbump. He turns to look at the girls and then back to Harry. "Just so you know we're not dating either of them," he adds, which was technically true, even if at least Kara was taken.

Stark also TOTALLY grunts at the punch to his shoulder. "Thanks sweetheart, I love you too," and he eyes Nat warily. "You are kissing that bruise better later, right? I think we can find some closets...," he's teasing her, right?

There is not indication that Bruce was not serious, though his attention remains on Tony for moment. Bruce laughs, first at Tony's words, then at the playful punch from the man's girlfriend and the interplay afterward. "I will remember that," he says seriously. "And try and keep your... shining example in mind." Yep, Bruce just might have burned Tony a bit, but as fellow page-sixers that can do that. "I will hope that your children make you as proud as mine has made me."

Kara murmurs to Jeanne, "What twins are they talking about?" since the comment seemed to be directed at her. Then looks back at Tony and smiles. "Honestly, it really wasn't necessary. Sawyer's my friend plus... well..." She shrugs. "I just do that sort of stuff anyway. But it was very nice. Honestly I don't think I've even ever seen that alloy before that it's made of. I was meaning to ask what it was?" She looks over t Tommy, "Actually my boyfriend was supposed to be here." She looks around and makes a blah face. "But.... I'm guessing he got busy. I saw his father here though. From J-Tech Industries? Didn't go speak to him though. Probably will later, after they've done their presentation though."

"Good to know," says Harry with a smirk. "Anyways, I must make with the polite nothings. Looking forward to later, Tommy, Adam." And the Osborn heir is disappearing into the crowd.

Natasha's smile directed at Kara is tight and not pleased. Jeanne would recognize it as one of her mentors warning signals that she is... quite... not... happy.

"Awesome bro, catch you later," Tommy says before he lets Harry go. "There we go, now we just need to round up Kara and Jeanne and drag them to a party," he says to Adam.

"Yeah. And /find/ a party that isn't totally lame," Adam comments dryly. "He's /Harry Osborn/. Party can't be like one of my uncle's grill-outs, Tommy. It's gotta be a party with... like... models and a DJ and all that crazy stuff. Like on TV. I've never been to a party like that. You think we can find one /and/ get let in?"

Nick Fury grins at Stark and reaches into a pocket producing a cigar. He doesn't light it and just puts it in his mouth. "You got no idea what I'm thinking." He though looks at Jeanne for a moment with a slight turn of his head. He stares at her for a moment, "Yeah and when she farts rainbows come out of her ass and it smells of fresh baked cookies." He looks back to Stark and Natasha, "Where did you find this kid? Tell me she's not the head of your Zola division?"

"I'll just be happy if they are happy," Tony actually confesses to Bruce. "I guess I've made my dad proud, but I partied hard, drank harder, and lived most my young life in private schools. But I got Jarvis to help me out with some good wisdom, he kept me from killing myself, mostly," and he smiles fondly at the mention of his butler. "Your boyfriend is Dedrick Jones, right Kara? And it's adamantium and vibranium. It's not the strongest version out there, but it's some of the best quality I could get my hands on," Tony comments. "It's highly resistant to physical damage, and I thought would have a higher chance of surviving daily wear from you," he comments. "And I think Pepper was talking to Dedrick about some things, and...I was talking to him about that hero his company sponsors. I should say hi to him this week." Tony then sighs, "Another item on the to-do list. In either case, 'the twins' are the ones Nat, has in there," and Tony points toward Nat's womb.

Then toward Nat, "No, you cannot plot Kara's demise, I think she's just honestly that clueless to the fact each time she mentions my ex-girlfriend's name your blood pressure rises. She's kinda cute that way though," Tony comments.

But then to Fury, Tony adds, "No, you can't have Jeanne. You can't plot evil for the twins, and you aren't allowed to take over the world either to really ruin your Christmas," he teases Nick. "And Jeanne is...ugh, now you are going to give me nightmares. Jeanne, you are to remember to abide by ethics at all times, you are not becoming the next Zola, that's just creepy."

There is a slight frown from Jan as she reaches Hank. "What? You are just standing here? That will not do at all. Come on...you're coming with me." Without pausing, Jan snatches Hank by the wrist and heads off towards people. People she knows.

And....the first person Jan sees is Kara. A slow smile plays across her lips as she looks over Kara's ensemble and slides right next to her. Never mind who else Kara is with. "My dear Kara...that is a simply amazing dress." Hank is still with Jan...she didn't let go.

Tommy grins when Adam gets all doubt-y on him. "Two words, Julian Keller," he says. "He's rich, he's a party boy, we're in his town, and he's on his team, he'll totally gind us a party and let us in. It's like the rules we fight Magneto together and get each other into parties." He jerks his head towards the group. "Let's go get this done," then he starts to lead the way.

Dr. Pym smiles and nods to Kara. Lets Jan talk. Works on an AI logic matrix i his head. Arm candy.

Adam snaps his fingers. "Duh and or hello! I should have thought of Jules. He's being all boring and stuffy in a suit--" not that Adam... wasn't. His suit was the same one he wore to his hearing, complete with purple tie that matches his freshly-dyed purple spiked hair. "--so I forgot for a bit." And he's hot on Tommy's heels, heading towards Keller. "Yo! Jules!"

"I would not know, as I have not either seen, or smelled her flatulence," deadpans Jeanne. The problem? Or what makes it both even more funny, and perhaps slightly sad, is she's being utterly serious, and the sarcasm and humor utterly escape her. She does, however, look towards Kara. Advises, "Perhaps a change of topic is in order." Social situations? She doesn't get. But, she can at least read someone's expressions if she knows them, ascertain their intent well enough. And, she well-recognizes Natasha's.

She points out to Tony, "That is a flawed basis for action. It was ethical in ancient times to stone someone to death for looking at another woman. It is ethical, still, in some countries, to remove a hand upon being caught for theft. It is considered ethical in most states to initialize the death penalty in our country, but most other civilized countries have ruled this as cruel and unusual punishment. Much of the medical knowlege we began with, too, was ascertained in mannerisms which modern day ethics would consider an abomination. Ethics is a malleable policy, and not something for which to base one's actions upon."

Natasha gives Tony a Look. She apparently doesn't find the girls obliviousness endearing in the least. But she glances to Jeanne, and nods. "I am expecting them both to be exceptional, of course," she points out. "Between Stark's incredible intellect and my..." she eyes Tony for a moment, "well, I hope they get everything else from me."

Kara smiles at Janet and gives her a hug. "Thanks.... I was worried it wasn't right for the event." She looks back over at Natasha and Tony. And notices Natasha seems annoyed about something. Then listens to Jeanne. Yeah, good idea - don't tell Tony's current girlfriend/lover/baby mama that Tony gave her gifts. "So.... twins?" she asks, quickly changing topics as per Jeanne's suggestion.

The entire eugenics debate sits ill on Bruce, and it shows, the man's expression going stony for a moment before carefully vapid again.

"Well, I am sure Mr. Stark--may I call you Tony?-- had little concern with the genetic implications behind his children's existence." Though Natasha's comment gains a lifted brow-- he and Stark may have even more in common than he originally thought-- he continues, "I am sure they were conceived out of desire and a love for the children's mother, not a need for a genetically perfect specimen. Even if they were not planned." See Tony? Bruce has your back. Ish.

Damian let's a soft "Tt," escape when Stark mentions happiness as a priority. "If I might, you possess a weaponized suit of immense power and own a multi-billionaire dollar company, I would think ensuring that they are suitable for carrying your vision-" he pauses then eyes shifting to Bruce as the implications of his statement sink in. "-forward would be your top priority."

"No problem, Tony. I probably owed you a few for getting me out to this coast in the first place." Julian replies, with a bit of a grin, before glancing between Jeanne and Kara and Natasha, the grin shifting to a bit of a frown, and then his eyes slide to Fury as Tony works to defuse the tension. He looks like he's about to say something to the SHIELD Director, and from his expression, it probably wasn't going to be terribly nice, but then a familiar voice catches his attention, and Julian turns to spot Adam and Tommy headed their way. He turns to Jeanne then, speaking more quietly, "Probably not the place for an Ethics debate, Jeanne." Then he turns towards Adam and Tommy and grins, moving over to give them the traditional "Bro-hug" as he jokes, "They let you in?" to Adam, before looking to Tommy, "So...I'm gonna make a wild guess and say you guys probably aren't here to ask me if I can waive the surcharges on the ATMs."

"I can't, by the way. My Dad's a dick."

Kara Zor-El looks at where the conversation has gone to. Maybe what her cousin and others told her about eugenics was overplayed worry - there seem to be several people here who think it's no big deal! "You know... some societies practice selective breeding without it having all the downfalls that they've been in recent human history. I mean... on Krypton it was standard practice." She pauses. "Then again so were arranged marriages, though I really do like the dating thing better."

Yes, the blonde haired, blue eyed Aryan looking girl should talk about the benefits of eugenics. Good.

Stark snorts at Nat, "Meanie bottoms," he calls Natasha. Then toward Jeanne, "I'm going to have to write down a list of ethics to abide by, aren't I?" He sighs at that. "That's going to be difficult."

"Yes, twins, that was the announcement on stage Kara. You know, the big one, about children, and legacy, and stuff?" Tony shakes his head on that one. But then toward Bruce, "Of course you can call me Tony. And 'shit' happens, and honestly, sometimes they are gifts in disguises. I never thought I'd have a family, and I'm not squandering this little 'miracle' or 'accident' or whatever you want to call it. And anyway," he leans in to kiss Nat's cheek and whisper into her ear, "I got a hot baby mama." But to everyone else he grins, "I'm a very lucky man to have Natasha in my life, even when she gives me hell."

Toward Damian, Tony shrugs, "Those are just bonuses Damian." He then pauses for a moment. "Pardon me for a moment everyone," and he actually reaches for Damian's shoulder and moves to guide him off to the sid eto speak to him more privately if Damian permits. "My apologizes Bruce, I just need to steal your son for a few minutes."

Hank's arm is released as Janet returns the friendly embrace. "Oh, it works. And, really, hon, if you ever have a doubt as to what to wear, just call me up. I will be more than happy to steer you right, my dear."

Janet pauses, listening for a moment, then chuckles softly to herself. "So...we're talking about the twins? I missed the announcement? Damn it all to hell." Janet sighs softly...then shrugs. "I was delayed. I really wanted to see the announcement."

Bruce nods. "Go ahead, Tony, just bring him back sober and in one piece," he jokes.

"I'm not allowed to drink myself right now, so he's safe! And my armor is under the stage!" Tony and Bruce together would be a dangerous combination.

Fury looks to Bruce, "Thank you, Mr. Wayne." He looks back to Jeanne, "Moral Ambiguity has it's place. But the use to justify the actions of a society or culture have never been one of the cases that hold water. But by your own argument, Natasha as are most of the people I assume in this room, including myself are inferior. The meta-humans and mutants would make a case for genetic superiority. So if Stark was wanting to have genetically superior offspring. He would have chose one of them. If they would want be willing. But then we're beginning to sound like Magneto or a few other men from the 1940s. As for ethics in science. I would suggest having a conversation with Dr. Pym over there. " He gestures to Dr. Pym, "Or Dr. Banner. They are probably quite versed in the subject." At Kara's statement he looks at her, "You don't say."

"Adam. Tommy," greets Jeanne, who is probably looking hotter than Adam's ever seen her, in that dress. Then again, so is Kara. She offers to Kara, "Very sensible." A nod, of approval. Her expression flattens some, at Julian's advice. Generally, her friend has proven to be correct about such matters. She nods, once, "If you think it is best, Julian. I will table the conversation for now." And her eyes trek, briefly, Damian walking off with Stark. She will have to find out what that is about, soon.

"Adam. I've taken the liberty of putting together a beta edition of Elves & Swords. You should find it acceptable. I will have it for you upon our next meeting." Which of course, means he gets to play it before anyone else. Him, and Tommy, and Teddy.

She pauses, inclining her head in concession to Fury's advice. "I had planned to speak to Dr. Pym on several occasions. He has proven quite busy, and difficult to get ahold of. But I will persist. I am interested in his theories and operations. I have read all of his publications."

Adam just glazes over at the science-ethics-boring talk. "...right. So. Jules. Party?"

Damian nods to Stark, standing up a bit straighter as he does so. "Of course," he says and then flashes his father a grateful look when he allows him to go. With that done he follows Stark giving a nod to Kara and Jeanne as he passes them.

"Yeah, they let us in," Tommy says with a grin. "They needed us to class up the place, and yeah, like Adam said, party, you and the ladies. Up for it?"

Tony takes Damian aside to a quiet spot against the wall, still within view of the others so his Father knows Tony isn't doing anything funny. Strange that Tony thinks of things like that now. He gives Damian's shoulder a pat and falls silent, thoughtful really for a few. He then asks, "Have you ever felt upset, or really dissatisfied with something, in such an extreme manner that you aren't sure how to fix it or make it better, and it makes everything else seem...bland, like what's the point?" He's struggling with how to word it.

There is a nudge to Hank as Janet nods to the conversation. "Hey, hon...they're talking about you. You know, now is the perfect time to, you know, talk..." She flashes a smile towards Hank, leaning in to give him a kiss, then releases him into the wild. The social wild, that is.

Janet leans over, looking over Natasha with a smile. She then returns to Kara, speaking to her. "I am almost under-dressed. It is a new feeling for me. I am finding it rather amusing."

Damian blinks up at Stark his blue eyes skeptical. This is not the sort of conversation he expected to have with Tony Stark "Yes," he answers after a moment. Then to cover he adds "Doesn't everybody?"

Dr. Pym says, "You under-dressed, Jan? Nonsense. You're always fashionable."

Natasha gives Hank a little chuckle. "You wouldn't notice if she was anyway, mm?" she teases, but she is keeping Stark in her peripheral vision.

"Ahhh." Julian cracks his knuckles and grins, "Gentlemen, you've come to the right place. Can't speak for the girls...Kara's here with someone else...but give me -just- a couple minutes." He pulls out his phone, sending out a text message to a few (OK, quite a few) old friends in town. "And if there isn't anything -special- going on for the expo, I know a half-dozen places off the top of my head that are always hopping here in town." He smirks, "I'll warn you in advance though, you might wake up with Lindsay Lohan or a Kardashian if you're not careful..." He chuckles, "Or if you're lucky, depending on how you look at it."

"Well, some more than others," Tony explains. "But that's basically unhappiness, or one of many versions of it," he says. "When unhappiness gets bad enough, nothing else does matter, not those that love you, not your career, not money, nothing. You just want the pain to stop. That is when it starts to enter self-destructiveness or even sucide. Basically, depression," he explains to Damian. "If someone is happy though, the sky isn't even the limit, they can achieve anything, do anything with their lives. Happy people are generally more productive, more creative, heathlier, and so much more. Am I making sense so far?"

"I must go prepare for a few things," Jeanne tells the others. She looks at Adam, tentatively. But, says nothing to him. She inclines her head to Kara. "It was interesting to hear your people's theories on relations and eugenics." Then, she nods to her 'teammates' politely. "I am certain I will see you plenty of times during the week." She doesn't wish them well, or to have fun. She merely begins to move out of the area. But then, really, that's Jeanne.

Kara Zor-El looks over at Julian and the others, then walks over. "Actually, I'm not here with anyone else. My boyfriend wound up not coming... probably work related stuff." She shrugs a little. "Sorry, overheard you."

Nick Fury looks back to people. " Well I should get going. I heard something about a bar." The Fury turns to walk out, "Potts. Natasha. Don't let Stark explode." He catches site of Jan, "Janet. Congrats." Then Fury moves to escape.

"Oh, this is about that," Damian says as he comes to understand what sparked this heart to heart. "I understand what you're saying but unhappiness and dealing with things like it can make a person stronger."

"Definitely not lucky," Tommy says. "Which reminds me, I should hit a drug store on the way to the party," he adds before he smiles to Kara and says "Well you're welcome to join us then Kara, and who knows, maybe you'll wake up with Justin Beiber or some other Kardashian LeLo equivalent. You know what they say about getting over someone right?"

Adam face faults for a second, but is quick to recover. "Yeah, awesome Jules. I'm not sure I'm okay with... hooking up with any of those, though. Clint says your dick can't cure crazy, evil, or stupid."

That draws a firm nod from Tony. "But assuring my children's happiness, they will make their own paths. Hopefully at least one of them will carry on the legacy of Stark Enterprises and lead it to new and greater heights, because it has been in my family for a long time. Still, I guess you can say, as a to-be Father, I don't want them to suffer the unhappiness that I have suffered. Genius is a double edged sword Damian, as I am sure you will realize in time if you haven't already. And more than anything, I don't want my children to feel like I have in the past or suffered as I have. And I'm sure your dad feels the same way, he wants you to be happy. So, just remember to be a kid sometimes, to have fun, to smile and mean it. Don't lock yourself up inside and get stuck playing pretend all the time."

Tony then reaches out to pat Damian's shoulder. "I sent your phone my contact information. I want to catch you this week if possible, if not then definitely after the Stark Expo. We can talk business and science, and whatever else floats your boat," he promises. "You seem like a good young man, one I'd like to get to know," his tone sincere.

"That's why I was -warning- you. There'll be plenty of nice normal girls there, too." Julian grins, then looks over towards Kara, a faint flicker of utter incomprehension at the idea that somebody would stand her up, but he just nods, "You're totally in if you want to be, Kara. Not sure if it's going to be a club, a house party, or a pool party just yet, but should know in just a couple minutes." Sure enough, his phone is starting to ping with a multitude of messages being returned after his message was shotgunned out.

Adam looks a bit awkward. "Uh... pool party? I will have to swing by the hotel for my trunks, I mean, I brought them, because, California, right? But my ID is back in New York..." the one he could get into a club with, anyway.

Kara Zor-El smiles. "Sounds like it would be fun." She shrugs a little. "You know. For us abnormal girls." She looks at Adam. "You need an ID to go to a party?"

Dr. Pym takes a swig of punch and says to Janet, "She seems nice, and familiar. Do I know her from anything?" He checks his watch.

Damian pulls his phone from his pocket. He blinks at the contacts and looks at Tony "How?" clearly Lucius will need to have the tech department revisit the encryption on the new phones. Then he gets to the other matters. "So you are saying you would put your children's happiness above your legacy and what your family built? I would never do that. Also, I am not pretending, this is who I am," he says and then adds. "To a certain degree at least."

And Harry manages to pull himself from a small crowd he had gathered, wandering towards the door, when he spies a familiar face. "Peter? Peter! Hey, didn't know you were gonna be out here!" He strolls over to his best friend. Ain't Petey glad for amnesia?

Peter blinks, and startles, before taking a breath and smiling, "Harry! JJJ sent me here to take photos!" And did not give him food money. And tried to send him cargo class.

Tommy is right there with Julian on Kara being stood up. I mean seriously. Maybe he didn't know about the dress? He shrugs. "We can get swim wear and stuff, as for ID, we're with Keller here, I'm sure we're not going to get carded."

He spots Harry. "Whoa, who's the nerd?" he asks as sees who Harry is talking to.

"Well, you got your photos, right?" Harry claps Peter on the shoulder. "So, lets get out of here, grab something to eat, maybe hit a party or something. Met a couple cool cats trying to find a place to have some fun later--" he spies Tommy with Julian, Adam, and Kara. "Ah, there they are."

The slap jolts Peter some, and he can but let out a mental whimper. Memories flash through his mind. Memories of high school. And the pain that's come since. He wheezes out what sounds like a sure.

Janet turns to Hank, regarding him with a raised eyebrow. "Who? You mean Kara?" She smiles softly, sliding up close to him and standing up on her toes to murmur in his ear. "she's a dear friend. And...you probably seen her in the media. Just, usually in red and blue."

"Not easily," is Tony's comment. "Believe me. If you want to fire your software programmer, let me know, I'd be interested in them," he says with a bit of a wicked grin. But as for the legacy, "I picked up the legacy because I loved my parents, not because I had to. I could have just sat back and let someone else run the company," he states. "It was a way for me to be close to my dad. I wish...I handled things differently when I was younger." But Tony then shrugs at that. "In either case, a legacy will continue when it is meant to be, forcing something isn't a solution. I was always a round piece trying to fit into a square peg, and I operate better when I stop trying to do that."

Tony then chuckles, "Even with the terror I'm in about having two little lives depend on me, even with all the chaos going in my so-called romantic life, even losing my best friend," though his smile slips at that last part. "I'm happier now than I've been in over a year." Since Sawyer's death. "Just...remember to do stuff that brings you joy is all I'm saying." Tony shrugs. "I'm awkward at this emotional stuff," he says. "I'm working to get better at it though. It's better than being punched in the face by an angry Black Widow."

"You won't need any ID." Julian notes as he studies his phone, murmuring more quietly, "Devon, if you weren't a dude, I'd kiss you." Apparently in regards to a message he's received. He points towards one of the taller buildings on the skyline, one of the nicest hotels in LA, really, "You guys see that building? My buddy Dev's rented out the rooftop and he's got a bunch of folks up there right now. There is a pool, but swimming is optional." Julian grins towards them, "And at least four Victoria's Secret models are hanging out at the moment." He looks to Kara and smiles, "It's cool Kara. You're the right kind of abnormal." He glances to Adam, Kara, and Tommy, "Should I tell him we're in?"

Natasha wanders over to Stark and Damian. She gives the younger Wayne a smile, one that's not too different than the sorts of smiles his own mother has when she bothers. Then she slips her arms around Stark. "Tony, if I'm not interrupting..." she leans her head on his shoulder. "The brats are informing me they are requiring food and rest."

"That... sounds epic." Adam looks thrilled. "I'm in. I mean, right, Tommy? We're in, right?"

Kara Zor-El looks at Tommy, Adam, and Julian. "You know... if you tell me where your ID is, I could just go back and get it for you if you really need one to go to parties? It wouldnt really take that long - I'd need to go get my... I'm guessing swimsuit if it's a pool party?" Then looks over at Peter. Wow... small world.

Dr. Pym starts choking on his drink. "You ... she ... red ... blue ... American way like Steve?" He composes himself with some difficulty. "When were you going to let me know? Not like I can even get a skin sample without Thor using Mjolnir."

About that time is when Harry, half-dragging Peter in that way that only friends that are used to getting their way can do, joins the group. "Hey Tommy, you find out anything about a party, bro? Haven't had time to check on anything yet, but if not, I'll see what I can scare up." He looks over at Julian and Kara. "Harry Osborn," he says with a grin. "This is Peter Parker. We go back to high school." Which, for Harry and Peter, wasn't exactly that long ago.

Peter Parker is dragged along, managing to tuck his camera along to the side, and Peter gives a timid, "Hey there." Looking over at Harry warily, "And how's your dad doing? I hear he's doing a presentation here as part of things."

Tommy nods firmly still smiling. "We're totally in," he says and then when Harry and Pete show up he says. "Harry, Pete, this is Julian Keller and Kara Zor-El. Jules here hooked us up with a sweet rooftop pool party, you guys game to come?"

Kara Zor-El looks over at Tommy, then at Peter. "Actually we met a couple of times. Hi Peter." she says, rubbing her head a bit and hoping he doesn't start asking more questions about her like she's a science fair experiment. Especially since they're basically AT a science fair for companies.

"Nah, Pete," Harry replies with a grin. "I'm handling the presentation. Dad's flying back to New York tonight-- some kind of work on some new project." He looks at Tommy and Julian and nods. "Totally in. Rooftop pool parties are absolutely my kind of thing." Hell, if Norman wouldn't have kittens, Harry would probably throw them frequently himself.

Peter knows how many ways this can go bad. Both the pool party and Norman's 'special showing'. "You're the CEO though Harry.. Shouldn't you know a bit more about.." Yanked along, too late now.

"Hey Harry." Julian grins and reaches across to shake Harry's hand firmly, then Peter's, "Peter." He chuckles, "Welcome aboard. So does anybody need to grab a swimsuit before we head over, or are we taking the express and worrying about the details later?"

Damian frowns at his phone. He'd look into it later. He puts it away. "No, it's alright," he says about the developer. "Sometimes the edges need to be shaved off the peg to make them fit," he opines a touch darkly, but he nods. "And I understand your problems with emotional talk, it is difficult." Then Widow arrives, he looks up at her, sizing her up in a way that had nothing to do with how she looked in the dress, he notes how she moves and for a moment is distracted by that smile, so like his mother's. He nods. "Ms. Romanova, I'll let you have Mr. Stark back," he says before turning to Tony. "I will contact you later and hopefully we can talk more."

Jan giggles as Henry sputters with his drink. "really, hon, I didn't know you wanted to meet her." She pauses..."Remember that those thing at New Venice? That's how we met...kinda. She saved the entire island while I went sub-fishing." Janet laughs, as she reaches over, patting Henry's cheek. "You know I took her and her friend with me to that party at the Hellfire Club, right? That was the official first meeting."

"I vote express," Tommy says. Of course he does. "Can always just dive in whatever if we want to swim."

A quiet hrm, "You do have a dangerous edge Damian." But then Black Widow is there, "Aren't they just going to go out and party knowing them?" A pause, "Oh wait, you mean the OTHER ones." The ones not born yet. "Right, right...find a back room later then?" Totally! "Food and rest win out. Anyway, just finished up." Tony moves to pull Nat against him to kiss the tip of her nose. "What do you want to eat, other than chips?" Though Bruce acting like that toward Talia might break Damian's mind. Stark seems completely comfortable with it, and doesn't seem off-put by the deadly grace Natasha's has. He really does seem to accept her for what she is, and what she does.

Dr. Pym stops mentally kicking himself. That's his dad's influence after all those years of therapy. "It's just I had a project she might have found interesting ... and helped with. I'm not going to go over there now. I'd be intruding and she's having fun. Maybe you can extend her a Science Squad invite one of these days?" He tries to keep from sounding too desperate.

Then Henry notes Peter Parker. Oh this evening is one fresh Hell after another. "Well, there's the kid I offered to mentor who never got back to me ... probably out spending all his time swinging."

"Express works for me too," Adam says with a grin. "Green floating express, or through-the-walls express?" he asks.

"Express?" Harry asks with a lifted brow. "Intriguing. Well, whatever that means, I'm all aboard."

Peter knows he's going to regret this. But Harry was.. IS.. His friend. And if he can save Harry.. He will. "I'm in."

"You want a lift, Kara, or you want to fly yourself?" Julian asks the blonde, even as he gestures for the other gents to gather 'round, "Keller airways, at your service." That green flicker sparks in his eyes, and a telekinetic bubble begins to form around the group, though Julian leaves a "door" open if Kara wants to step inside herself. "Don't worry...they're used to me showing up like this." He reassures his passengers with an impish grin, before looking to see which course Kara wants to take.

"Well...I have her number, hon. And...she is right *there*. You know, she probably heard your intent." Janet hooks a thumb over her shoulder towards Kara, speaking to Pym. "She does have super hearing....she heard everything we just said. Didn't you, Kara?" Of course, Janet doesn't speak up, or even turn her head towards Kara....but she knows Kara heard.

"I am just driven," Damian answers Stark about his dangerous edge. He watches the interplay between Tony and Natasha with a mildly horrified expression before he murmurs "Good night," and turns and walks off to go find his father, as well as some bleach for his brain.

Having strolled off to inspect some of the areas The Alien werewolf Dor'rain has not caused any trouble more a visual inspection of most examples of the advanced technology on display. Of course he has gotten some passive scans of some. Most of them are as he expected, antiquated pieces of technology. A couple here and there have caught his interest, mostly weapons. While not a serious danger to him, there are what he can tell alien influences in their designs. He has also expressed his concern over a proposed weather control system, and how messing with their planet's weather system would cause more harm in the long run than good. But other than saying it was a mistake waiting to unleash a monster, he said nothing more. Some races have to learn the hard way he supposes. Once more spotting Tony Stark in the middle of a crowd and heads over to look at one of the displays.

Kara Zor-El shrugs. "I'm good with just flying there. Or whatever. Wouldn't want it to be awkward." She looks aorund at Janet and nods, and calls over. "Yes I heard!" and waves a little at them. "Um... give me a few minutes and we can go?" She heads back over across to where Janet and Henry are. "Sorry um.... they were talking about a party... and I was getting a little down that my boyfriend couldn't be here... so I was going to go to it."

She looks over at Henry. "Hi - so... you're Dr. Pym, right? I read your books and Janet mentioned you." She then looks back at the other people her age-ish. Just to make sure they don't go to the party without her. Or at least to know when the are going. Then she looks back to Henry and Janet, albeit a little distracted looking because of the aforementioned talk of a party.

Harry blinks, his expression blank for a moment, then grins broadly. "I think the express looks like a stylish way to show up, my friend... Julian, was it?" He pauses, then reaches back for Peter. "Come on, I'm sure ol' Jameson will let you off for one night."

Adam's long since been used to being picked up and tossed and/or carried around by Julian's TK, so he's aboard right behind Harry.

Tommy is right there with Adam and Harry. "C'mon Kara, you can science anytime," he calls out after the Kryptonian.

Peter can't help but let out a sigh, and then looks over at Harry. "Sure." Jameson won't, but Harry is the son of one of the main stockholders in the Bugle so Jameson can't object that much.

Janet grins....and shoos Kara on. "Go on to your party, hon. I just wanted to show my darling Hank here that he can talk to you anytime. Go have fun..."

Dr. Pym takes Jan's arm. "Not now, she's with her friends. Ooh ..." He turns to Kara a little awkwardly. "You read my books? How nice. But like I was saying, I don't want to interfere with your party. I'm sorry about your boyfriend. I was going to ask for a bit of help with an experiment I was doing ... which I bet sounds as interesting as paint drying to a young lady like yourself. But I'll give you a call and if you want to help a bit I'd appreciate it."

Once the gents are all aboard, Julian does start to lift in the air, along with the telekinetic bubble. A little hole is left in the top so it doesn't get stuffy in there, not that it's going to be a long trip! Still, he halts after they've hovered a few meters into the air. The crowd is...remarkably calm about this, though some take pictures. Still, with Avengers in attendance such a display is not entirely unexpected. And once Kara rejoins them, they all take off towards the aforementioned hotel.

Kara Zor-El nods smiling at Henry. "Sure... maybe we can talk another time. Janet has my number or .. you know..." She points to her ears. "Super hearing." Then looks at the others and walks off. Then flies off after them.

Natasha gives Tony a light little kiss, then murmurs in his ear, "Room service."
