Background[]
- Amahl Farouk became leader of the underground syndicate located in the "Thieves' Quarter" in Cairo, Egypt.
- At some point, he became possessed by "The Shadow King".
- When Charles Xaiver touring Cairo he was pick-pocketed by Ororo, and quickly realized she was a mutant. However, before he could off her help, he was caught unaware by a psi-bolt and knocked unconscious by Amahl.
- When Amahl offered Xavier a partnership, Xavier refused and challenged him to a duel. The battle was shockingly brief with Xavier winning, and escaping Cairo.
- Amahl has a bone to pick though with Xavier's 'students', and has joined up with the Brotherhood of Mutants to enjoy his revenge for not accepting his offer.
